A friend ask to create a logo for one Indonesia community in Melbourne. Indomelb. Here is my proposal..

Seuramoe Aceh Victoria Logo

Seuramoe Aceh is Acehnese Community in Australia. A couple month ago they ask me to help them with a logo. I came with three alternative with different concept, they chose one.. take a look..

We had pooling for the logo and, the third one is a winner. Personally I chose the second alternative, but one of the member argue that elevated house is widespread along malay peninsula and sumatra culture so it was not exclusively represent Aceh. Good point though...

Design for Museum Negeri Aceh

Here I post my logo Proposal For Museum Negeri Aceh. It was a long procedure to propose the to be an official logo. However in the 100th year celebration of the museum, they agree to use it as a logo brand for the 100th years of the museum.

Visually the concept was simple, I took the rumoh aceh which has become strong symbol of Museum Aceh as main logo form. The initial words of Museum Aceh (MA) forms the column and the stair of this Acehnese traditional house. In a glance, people may not notice the MA, but it is there, considered.

I handed the logo to the museum and they use it to some events material. To be clear, 100th Museum Aceh is an event to celebrate 1 century of the museum and the momentum of the museum transformation. The staff of the museum was working hand by hand to upgrade the museum content and design. I was a volunteer in this event and feel happy to be part of it.
